Hole 2
Par 3, 171yds from the White Tee, SI 8
This is a visually daunting hole for any handicap golfer, high or low.
A pond lies within easy reach of any miss-hit ball off the tee. Out of bounds over the fence to the right lies in wait for any golfer with that dreaded erratic slice.
The green is perched on a plateau, which is unseen from the tee, as are the two bunkers that are secretly waiting to catch any ball that falls short of the green.
A true test of skill for any golfer.

Hole 7
Par 5, 548yds from the White Tee, SI 2
This is the longest hole on the course. The flag on the green can just be seen from the tee.
Big hitting hole for those low handicap golfers. But, however, don't be fooled! This is no easy hole and golfers who have taken this hole on too laid-back or too casual have paid the price that this hole can cost, two or three extra strokes on their card.
This hole is a Stroke Index 2 for a very good reason!
Hole 9
Par 4, 341yds from the White Tee, SI 12
Probably one of the best viewing tees on the course; this tee gives the golfer a panoramic view of the 9th and 10th fairway. However, once again, do not be fooled by the view, many dangers lie ahead. Slice the ball to the right and it will be a certain dropped shot, that's if you manage to find the ball!
For the low handicap big hitter a ditch secretly guards the green waiting for those who take it on. For the golfer who plays to the left of the fairway and is pleased with his drive, a shock awaits when he arrives at his ball only to find a giant tree on the fairway obscuring the view of the hole and the way in. Surly a magnificent hole.

Hole 14
Par 5, 531yds from the White Tee, SI 9
The home golfers affectionately know this hole as the 'bomb hole'
Halfway down the fairway and to the right is a deep hollow that, over the years, the locals have chronicled to be what remains when a bomb exploded after being dropped from a plane during the war, which was intended for the nearby ICI factory.
There are many hazards on this hole, especially down the left hand side.
The bomb hole on the right is a major hazard, once in there it could be a drop shot.
Many have stated that the pilot of the plane who dropped the bomb must have been a greenkeeper before the war?

Hole 17
462yds from the White tee, SI 3
The penultimate hole and you think your worries or nearly over, good score on your card, can't lose! Oh! dear, what a shock lies in store for those who take this hole on without any apprehension. When on this tee be afraid, be very afraid because this hole has destroyed many a good card, there are hazards all the way to the green. There is no safe way to play this hole attack is the only answer. And may god be with you.
